Technology Associates is pleased to announce Mr. Jeffery Hughey has joined Technology Associates as Vice President of Cyber Programs. Mr. Hughey is responsible for leading Technology Associates’ growth in the cyber domain across DoD and Federal Agencies. With over fifteen years' experience leading IT programs and teams of personnel, he has excelled in all aspects of cyber support from developing DoD-compliant policies and security concepts of operations (CONOPS), implementing cross-domain solutions, and developing program road maps to support system certification and accreditation (C&A), training, and security operations centers.

Mr. Hughey has been actively involved in the growth of large government contractors, most recently serving as Principal at Booz Allen Hamilton for cyber market growth. Specifically, he led capture of over $11 million in annual revenue in new business, including clients such as the U.S. Navy Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Secretary of the Navy, and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

Technology Associates was recently recognized by the Department of Health and Human Services for our professionalism, dedication and exceptional performance of duty in support of the Office of Preparedness and Emergency Operations during the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Our team of committed professionals provided 24/7 support to the Emergency Management Group and the Operations Center even during extreme weather conditions which required much of the Federal Government to close.

Technology Associates Recoginzed for Contributing to Families of the Wounded Fund

During the last quarter of 2009, Technology Associates made a significant contribution to Families of The Wounded Fund. The goal of this fund is to, “Provide financial resources in support of family members/caregivers of military service men and women who have either been wounded in combat operations or injured as the result of line-of-duty activities in support of combat operations. This assistance is available while these patients are receiving prescribed medical treatment.(1) ”

Technology Associates chose to contribute to this fund because many of our clients, employees, and partners served as Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines or provide significant support for these branches of government. “Our employees are encouraged to support charitable organizations in their neighborhoods as well as throughout the country and abroad. TAIC Establishes Employee Stock Ownership Plan

Technology Associates announced today, the implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to expand its employees’ ownership. It is intended that virtually all 400 employees will be eligible to participate in the plan that will be 100 percent funded by the Company. The ESOP shares will be allocated to employee accounts over a number of years.
